Being
in the middle of the holiday season
I often think about my family who lives across the country along with
all of our holiday traditions that I enjoyed as a child.
I'll
never forget sliding down the
stairs to my great grandparents rec room on Christmas Eve. Then there
was singing Christmas carol's on Christmas day at my grandparents house
while I impatiently waited for Santa to arrive and hand me my gift.
Their homes were places of holiday gatherings and memories I'll never
forget.
Now being an adult
with children of my own my family and I have created some new holiday
traditions. Most of our traditions revolve around our home and I
started wondering if I could ever let go.
Over
the years in my real estate career I've
witnessed seller's who could let go with no problem and then there were
some who had an extremely hard time leaving.
I'm
very thankful for my home and have no intention of
moving
anytime soon, but the time will come that I have to and I wonder how
easy it will be for me to let go. My home is my safe place where my
children are being raised and memories are being created each day.
Could you let go of your
home?
