Can 3 inches really make a difference?

I never thought in a million years that three inches would make a difference when it comes to baseboard mouldings, but in my opinion it does.  I recently had Grout Perfect: Grout Cleaning & Grout Color Sealer Palm Beach County FL clean my grout and after it was done my baseboards looked out of place.

My husband and I have discussed replacing our baseboards a few times, but it always remained on our todo list.  Although after admiring our clean floors we decided to have our smaller baseboards replaced with 5 3/4 baseboards.

I couldn't believe the difference it made, not in my property value, but in my homes overall appearance.   Sometimes the little touches can make the biggest difference.
