It's the little things in life that mean the world to me.
Today I'm another year older, which also makes me another year wiser and it's be an incredible day thanks to all of my friends and family.
It started this
morning with Al & Peggy Cunningham
posting SEND HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES TO OUR OWN
ACTIVE RAINER MICHELLE GIBSON !
This was so unexpected and such a wonderful gesture.
Then my very thoughtful 11 year old son, Chase, gave me multiple gifts.
The first was a Disney picture frame with a picture of him and his little brother that he purchased last week while we were on vacation. I thought my husband was behind it, but he wasn't. As the two of them ran to the hotel lobby Chase told my husband that he wanted to use some of his birthday money to buy me a gift.
Then last night he offered to take our family out to dinner and pick up the tab. We will go out tonight, but I'll let my husband buy.
Just when I thought he was done he handed me a piece of paper and on it he wrote "Happy Birthday Mom," then "$25.00" and taped my Gap credit card under it. Hmmmm I guess I get to hand him the bill when it comes?????
Of course my youngest son
followed in his steps and they both made me birthday cards, which I
treasure more than anything.
I'm
very blessed and thankful to
have such a great, thoughtful and funny friends and family.
