Last Night of Puppy Sitting

We've had a guest by the name of Payton for the past few weeks and tonights our last night with him. I'm sure he'll visit in the future, but my kids are sad to see him go. We have two dogs of our own, but that doesn't seem to make it less difficult for them to say goodbye.

I've never had a puppy of my own before, so it was definitely an experience I will not forget. From day one I learned that puppies are very much like toddler's and can never be left alone, but I also learned that they are the sweetest little things that want constant loving.

I'm not sure if my dog Ace ever liked Payton, but I guarantee he liked his bed with or without him in it. Although I think Ace liked his own bed too, but before Payton ate it.

So come tomorrow my house will most likely be quiet during the day, which is bitter sweet.
