QR Codes are a Family Affair

Back in April it was "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day," which is an educational program where parents take their children to work with them for an entire day.  I remember doing this as a teenager with my mom, which was a day that I'll never forget, so I was excited to do the same with my two boys.  While they wouldn't be boarding a train that heads to downtown Chicago they would be seeing what I do first hand.

Walk Wellington with Chase GibsonOne of the tasks that Chase and Aidan had to complete by the end of the day was writing one blog post about their favorite place in Wellington, pictures were required along with a minimum of a 100 words.  When I received Chase's completed post and photos I was very impressed especially since I didn't give him any direction or input.

Suddenly my
newest contributor was born and Chase now has his very own blog series "Walk Wellington with Chase Gibson" on my website.  In this series Chase explores, dines and checks out places in and around Wellington that he loves.  The feedback and Chase's commitment to this series has been so phenomenal that we purchased the domain name WalkWellington.com, which takes visitors to a section on my website showcasing all of his posts.

Walk Wellington with Chase GibsonChase has continued to do an amazing job explaining to local businesses who he is, what he does and why he wants to take pictures of their establishment that when I saw this contest a light bulb went off and I immediately thought about creating a business card for him.

Now Chase will have something to hand out that has his web address and QR code that leads to his series, which I knew will generate more readers for him and more exposure for me.
