Recycle AND Save at Target - Super Target Lake Worth Florida

Recycle AND Save at Target - Super Target Lake Worth Florida

The next time you shop at your local Target make sure to bring your reusable bags because they will give you 5₵ for each recyclable bag you use.  While Target sells recyclable bags you don't have to buy or use theirs in order to get the credit, the bag just has to be an actual reusable shopping bag, not plastic.

Target also has recycling stations at the front of each store. Last year they launched their "recycling program" to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day and put a  recycling station at every store across the nation.  Now Target customers can recycle aluminum, glass and plastic beverage containers, plastic bags, MP3 players, cell phones and ink cartridges right at the store.

Way to go Target.  An Aldi's just opened up near my mom in Bradenton, Fl.  They have a "you bag" policy which helps keep their prices low.  My husband is kind of a bagging Nazi anyway, so we prefer to bag our own groceries regardless, and I like the idea of reusing the plastic bags I have.

Very cool Michelle ~ 5c is a darn good incentive for bringing and using your reusable Target bags. Plastic bags are soooo yesterday!

Michelle:  I "suggested" this post ... as I personally was not aware that Target was offering opportunities to recycle .. especially those pesky plastic bags that I seem to collect millions of.  This is so convenient!  Good news to pass on ... thanks ...

HI Michelle - that is great that Target in Lake Worth, Florida gives back to the consumer for recycling. I try to use reusable bags as well. At Trader Joes they let you enter a contest for $25 worth of groceries each time you use them.

BTW - I suggested it as well because I think it is important!

Hi, Michelle.  What a cool idea.  I don't shop there often, but I will keep this in mind.  Thanks for the info!
